Welcome to SnaplyBill. By accessing or using our website, invoice generator, or any related services (“Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”) and the operator of SnaplyBill (“we”, “us”, “our”). This page is a general template and not legal advice.

1. About SnaplyBill

SnaplyBill provides invoice-generation tools on a freemium/subscription basis. The Service helps you format and export professional invoices (including GST/non-GST options). We do not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice, and we do not guarantee compliance with any specific law or regulation. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and delivery of your invoices and information.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be capable of forming a legally binding contract under applicable law.
  • If login is provided (e.g., Google Sign-In), you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Plans, Pricing & Billing

  • We may offer a free tier with limited features and paid plans (“Pro”) with enhanced features and branding controls.
  • Prices are displayed at checkout and may be subject to applicable taxes (including GST). Tax treatment depends on your location and applicable law.
  • Paid plans may auto-renew unless cancelled per Section 4. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for recurring fees.
  • We may change prices or plan features with prior notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Digital delivery: SnaplyBill is a digital SaaS product. No physical shipping.
  • First-time purchases: Eligible for cancellation/refund requests within 48 hours of payment, subject to fair-use checks.
  • Renewals: Non-refundable unless required by law.
  • Refund method: Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method and typically reflect within 5–10 business days (bank/processor dependent).
  • To cancel or request a refund, contact us using the details in Section 16.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  1. Use the Service for unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
  2. Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
  3. Interfere with Service integrity or security (e.g., reverse engineering, bypassing access controls).
  4. Spam or send unsolicited messages using exported documents.
  5. Misrepresent invoices, tax details, or payment information.

Violation may lead to immediate suspension or termination (see Section 13).

6. Your Content & Data

  • You retain rights to the content you input (e.g., invoice details, logos). You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate the Service.
  • Accuracy is your responsibility. Always review documents before sharing.
  • Depending on your selected plan/settings, content may be processed locally in your session and/or stored for features like “document history.” Storage (if offered) will follow our Privacy Policy.

7. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to such processing. Where applicable, you are responsible for providing any required notices/consents to your customers or recipients.

8. Third-Party Services (incl. Razorpay, WhatsApp, Email)

  • Payments: We use third-party payment processors (e.g., Razorpay) to collect fees. By paying, you agree to their terms and policies. We do not store full card/UPI credentials.
  • Sharing: If you share invoices via WhatsApp, email, or other channels, you acknowledge those are third-party services. Deliverability, availability, and security of those channels are outside our control.
  • Third-party services may change, impose limits, or experience outages. We are not responsible for such changes or downtime.

9. Intellectual Property

  • The Service (software, UI, design, trademarks, and brand elements) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law.
  • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service per these Terms.
  • You must not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted.

10. Disclaimers

  • The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free operation or that the Service will meet your specific needs.
  • We do not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice; you should consult qualified professionals.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us for the Service in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us (and our directors, officers, employees, and partners) harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable laws.

13. Suspension & Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate access for actual or suspected violation of these Terms, misuse, fraud, non-payment, or to comply with law.
  • On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Certain provisions survive termination (e.g., Sections 9–14).

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts located in New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction. You agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us (see Section 16).

15. Changes to the Service or Terms

  • We may update the Service, introduce new features, or discontinue features at any time.
  • We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be notified by updating the “Last updated” date or by reasonable notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
